Plain-English Answers
The questions regular people ask before joining a cybersecurity program.
Questions, Answered Simply
Do I need coding experience?
No. The Cyber Risk, GRC, and AI Governance path does not require coding.
Do I need hacking experience?
No. This is not a hacking bootcamp.
Is this really cybersecurity?
Yes. GRC, cyber risk, and AI Governance are core parts of modern cybersecurity programs — the business side.
What is GRC in simple words?
GRC means Governance, Risk, and Compliance. It is the business side of cybersecurity. Instead of coding or hacking, you help companies manage risk, review controls, collect evidence, follow rules, and use technology safely. This path is built for career changers from regular jobs, customer service, admin, insurance, sales, operations, IT support, audit, compliance, and similar backgrounds.
What is AI Governance?
Helping companies use AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot safely and responsibly — who can use them, what data is allowed, what rules to document, and how to prove safe use.
Can beginners learn this?
Yes. We teach it step by step in plain English. No coding, no hacking.
What computer skills do I need?
Email, internet browsing, Zoom, uploading and downloading files, and following step-by-step instructions. That's it.
How does the 40 + 40 program work?
40 hours of self-study you complete on your own time before live classes, plus 40 hours of live online sessions where the instructor walks through GRC and AI Governance work step by step.
What projects will I build?
Risk register, AI acceptable use policy, AI tool approval checklist, AI vendor risk review, AI risk register, AI governance mini-framework, access review, security policy, and an interview portfolio.
How do monthly payment options work?
Qualified students may be able to split tuition into monthly payments through third-party providers such as PayPal, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, or similar. Provider approval, fees, interest, and terms may vary. Final monthly payment is set by the provider.
What does the full program cost?
$4,997 for the Full Program. Estimated monthly payment is around $208/mo over 24 months before fees.
What is the money-back career support guarantee?
Complete the program, complete your projects, attend career support, build your portfolio, and follow the job-search plan. If you do not land a qualifying GRC, cyber risk, AI risk, or AI governance-related role within the guarantee period, you may qualify for money-back career support based on program terms. Guarantee terms apply.
Can I apply if I already work in IT, audit, compliance, or GRC?
Yes. The beginner path is built for career changers, but the advanced track can also help people in IT, audit, compliance, risk, or GRC move toward AI governance, AI risk, cyber risk, or senior GRC roles.
